This workshop uses an evidence-based, non-prescriptive approach to increase teaching effectiveness. The workshop focuses on behaviors that teachers at any level of experience can use to improve their teaching in a variety of settings. Facilitators are trained faculty members from across the VCU Health Sciences Campus.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

•    Define key concepts and identify effective behaviors in the highlighted content area.
•    Demonstrate enhanced versatility in using effective teaching behaviors.
•    Demonstrate an ability to analyze clinical teaching using an educational framework.
•    Participate in collegial exchange regarding teaching behaviors.

This 90-minute workshop complies with VCU and VCU Health COVID-19 protocols, and will be conducted online in small-group, video conference sessions.
