Joy in Medicine: Opportunities and Challenges

This Health Education Grand Rounds presentation will be given by guest speaker Kelley Skeff, MD, PhD, George Deforest Barnett Professor in Medicine at Stanford School of Medicine.

Join us from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in the College of Health Professions Auditorium. No registration is required; CE credit is coordinated by the Center for Interprofessional Education.

The entire VCU and VCU Health Community are welcome to this interprofessional event.

(The new College of Health Professions building is located at 900 E. Leigh Street, Richmond, Virginia 23298, near the Larrick Center and across from the old VTCC.)

By the end of this session, participants will be able to: 

  1. identify the many areas of joy in medicine,
  2. consider current challenges to the field, and
  3. identify approaches to enhance our effectiveness as health care team advocates.
