Make It Stick: Applying Adult Learning Theory to Curricular Design In-Person
This session focuses on the practical application of adult learning theory to curricular design, drawing insights from the book Make It Stick. Participants will explore how evidence-based principles of learning, such as retrieval practice, spaced repetition, and the importance of active engagement, can be integrated into course design to enhance long-term learning retention. Through discussion and interactive activities, senior faculty will refine their teaching strategies to foster more effective learning experiences and improve learner outcomes.
