Abstract Writing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence In-Person
An abstract is a key component of any research presentation, proposal, or manuscript submission, and a well-crafted abstract can distinguish your work from the rest. Typically, an abstract is the only information a program committee, editor, or reader sees to decide if your work will be presented, considered for publication, or read. This session will cover the essential components of a strong abstract while also introducing how AI tools can assist in crafting concise, high-quality abstracts. Dr. Nicole Deiorio, an experienced journal editor, will guide participants through the process of creating an impactful abstract, discussing both traditional strategies and the emerging role of AI in enhancing abstract writing.
