33rd Annual WISDM Leadership Conference - Communication is Key! Unlocking Our Ability to Communicate Well to Various Stakeholders In-Person

For 33 years, the WISDM Leadership Conference has promoted professional development through enhancement of leadership skills. The conference is open to men, women, and non-gender-conforming academic faculty, administrators and other health care professionals, as well as medical, dental and graduate students, post docs, residents and community leaders across VCU, VCU Health, and VAMC as well as other community leaders – all are welcome!
Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. Grab a boxed lunch; check out the exhibit tables featuring Barnes and Noble, Women in Science (WIS), and Women in Medicine Student Organization (WIMSO); choose your seat for the lunchtime activity and keynote; and spend an afternoon of enrichment – learning, reflecting, and talking with fellow attendees. We will also honor one faculty member with a Professional Achievement Award from the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, and Pharmacy as well as the College of Humanities and Sciences.
