Communicating with Leaders: A Panel and Discussion In-Person
How can you best advocate for yourself to obtain information and resource needs to meet your developing career goals? Though this session is designed particularly for junior faculty, all faculty, housestaff, senior graduate students and postdocs are welcome.
This workshop is the first in a series of workshops designed to support early career faculty. Topics have been selected based on a 2024 needs assessment of early career faculty. This series is presented by the School of Medicine Offices of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development.
After this session learners will be able to:
- describe examples of suggested best practices for effective communication
- identify one or two new strategies you might incorporate into future conversations about career goals and resource needs
- feel more confident initiating conversations with leadership
Registration has closed.
