We’re excited to announce a new opportunity: the SOM Retirement Transition Group Coaching! If the idea of transitioning to retirement brings up questions or feelings of anxiety, you’re not alone. After years of successful careers, contemplating such a significant change can be daunting. This group is designed for those considering retirement within the next 6 to 24 months. Preparing yourself now is a great step toward a fulfilling retirement.

Who should consider participating:

• Faculty thinking about retirement in the next 6-24 months
  • Note: You do not need to submit a retirement date, and your participation will not be seen as a commitment to retire.
• Those willing to engage in the cohort from January through March and a follow-up June
• If you’re interested in exploring how to achieve your best retirement and navigate the transition with confidence and clarity
  • Note: This program does not include financial or benefits advice

What to Expect:

• Worksheets for personal reflection and growth
• Group coaching provided during the meetings
• One individual coaching session in February
  • You may sign up for other individual coaching sessions
• Peer Support: Share experiences and growth insights with other cohort members.

• Start Date: January 8, 2025
• Frequency: 2^nd and 4^th Wednesdays, January through March and follow up in June
• Time:5-6:15pm
• Location: Zoom
• Spaces limited:  This group will be approximately 12 individuals
