Preventing Faculty Burnout (Virtual session presented by: The Chronicle of Higher Education & NCFDD)

A nationwide survey highlighted a disparity between professors and administrators regarding morale. Only 32 percent of administrators responded that they consider preventing burnout a key goal, in contrast to 62 percent of polled faculty who believe that reducing burnout is a priority in their institutions. How can the gap be addressed so institutions can work toward preventing burnout and building morale? Join The Chronicle for a Virtual Forum discussion on April 24 at 2 p.m. ET to learn more. The discussion includes Dr. Mangala Subramaniam, Senior Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs as one of the invited speakers. Additional two speakers are Nicole Bauer, Assistant Professor of European History from University of Tulsa, and Rebecca Pope-Ruark, Director of the Office of Faculty Professional Development from Georgia Institute of Technology.
