Welcome to the VCU School of Medicine! We are pleased that you have joined our institution and our great medical school, and we invite you to attend the VCU School of Medicine New Faculty Welcome & Reception on Tuesday, August 27, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.  

We look forward to this opportunity to both welcome and fully engage with each of you in person, to learn more about you, and to help connect you with each other and your SOM colleagues. 

 New faculty hired from August 1, 2023 to the present are invited to this face-to-face event. University leaders, including Dr. Michael Rao, VCU President, and Dr. Arturo Saavedra, Dean, VCU School of Medicine, will join us in the MMEC 8th Floor Learning Studios (8-200A/8-205B) to provide brief remarks. Afterward, we will move downstairs to the MMEC Lobby for hors d’oeuvres and a networking reception. 

The McGlothlin Medical Education Center is located at 1201 E. Marshall Street.
