Women’s History Month Art Exhibit: "Women in Medicine and Science Inspiring Passion, Purpose, and Empowerment." March 4th – 15th In-Person
The School of Medicine's Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Arts in Healthcare at VCU Health will be hosting a Women's History Month Art Exhibit themed "Women in Medicine and Science Inspiring Passion, Purpose, and Empowerment." The exhibit will be located on the 2nd-floor Breezeway of the McGlothlin Medical Education Center and will feature art from VCU and VCU Health faculty, staff, team members, and students.

Women in Medicine and Science Inspiring Passion, Purpose and Empowerment
Join us this Women's History Month for a celebration of the remarkable contributions of women in medicine and science. "Women in Medicine and Science Inspiring Passion, Purpose and Empowerment" exhibit will be on display from March 4th – March 15th and is located on the 2nd-floor of the McGlothlin Medical Education Center. This exhibit features art from VCU and VCU Health faculty, staff, team members and students.
“Women in Medicine and Science Inspiring Passion, Purpose and Empowerment” honors the spirit, creativity and dedication of women who have left an everlasting mark on the fields of medicine and science, shaping the world we live in today. Through an array of art, this exhibit pays homage to women who have defied convention, shattered glass ceilings and paved the way for future generations. From groundbreaking discoveries to revolutionary innovations, each piece of art is a testament to passion, purpose and empowerment. Among the featured artists are: Talitha Abraham, Marjolein de Wit, Ann Fulcher, Anaya Gorham, Veronica Hicks, Heather Irving, Erin Nelson-Goodwyn, Ashli Phillips, Betsy Ripley, Alexis Shockley, Aliyah Simmons and Vidya Subramaniam whose work pays tribute to the remarkable achievements of women in medicine and science. Through their artistry, they capture the essences of their determination, compassion and vision.
As we celebrate Women's History Month, let us honor the brilliance and tenacity of the women in medicine and science who continue to inspire us all.
