SOM Lunchtime Learning: Resilience for Healthcare Professionals

SOM Lunchtime Learning: Resilience for Healthcare Professionals In-Person

Research indicates that mindfulness practices enhance clinician well-being and resilience and ultimately improve healthcare quality and safety. Join us as we take a first step of tapping into your limitless potential. Through knowledge and self-awareness we can gain a better understanding of ourselves and our situations, which can spark systems-wide change.

By the end of this session, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify ideology and symptoms of clinician compassion fatigue and burnout.
  • Discuss the concepts: resilience, self-compassion, and caring in healthcare.
  • Apply various evidence-based mindfulness practices to enhance personal and professional wellbeing.
