Objectives:

  • Become familiar with the process for conducting research at VCU
  • Know how to access research resources available through the Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research
  • Define “human subjects research” that needs to be submitted to the IRB
  • Know how the IRB review process works and where to find IRB resources
  • Identify the library liaisons for the School of Medicine
